Default GAS Smell!!

Hey guys I just wanted to know how to get the smell of Gas out of a Car. Because my mom started to yell at me about getting gas for the genorator, I had to use my car and get it because my sister left. On the way back some gas spilled on my cars seat and now it smells like gas all the time! I put some leather cleaner on it to try and get the smell out but it only worked a little.
Am i suppose to use some sort of solution?

Thanks
Josh

You shoulda told her no because the only way to get rid of that smell is to buy a new seat/foam. You could air it out, but you'd have to air it out so long to get rid of a gas smell, your interior would get musty.

Is that Wellington as in Wellington, Kansas? If so, MAN, you must be the only Z owner in town! (My Grandparents lived in Wellington all the way to the end).

As for your Gas smell predicament....Hmmm, don't really know how to help with that one. Might try pulling the seat cover off and taking it to a professional leather cleaner or something. Next time, bring a trash bag and put the gas can in the bag. That'll prevent any little spils long enough to get it home.

I keep one of those blankets I bought in Mexico on top of my rear mat! - great when bringing things home from the grocery - or home depot - can shake it out or wash if necessary. It's a colorful blanket and most people cant even see it.
