Exsilio... your right... I do see that all those cars are just ever so sporty... Like that time this Passat raced me in my dads Acura RL... We were both wearing racing helmets for protection....

None the less... way too much time if your noticing Ad banners... I mean those things are just for clutter... no one really clicks them...

I'll be the first to admit that the Passat doesn't belong in that lineup but at the same time I feel really sorry that you think VWs suck. Maybe because I own 2 (Rabbit GTIs, one race car, one waiting for a motor) but I really think VW has come along way from their crap they built in the late 80s early 90s, Corrodo & GTIs excluded.

Wow, that's a harsh opinion of VW. I have to agree with LS350Z on this one. The newer VWs are nice cars. I'm a big fan of the GTI. (except for front wheel drive... I've always wished they'd release it with rear or awd)

Also, you have to give VW/Audi credit for the 1.8t engine. Not too shabby in it's stock form, and it can be easily modified to make some serious power and torque for such a small engine.

I've owned few VW's in my day (Passat included). But my first real car was an 86 GTI. It was one of the best and most enjoyable cars i've owned to date. It's the original pocket rocket as well as a solidly made car. The Passat was a different story though. However, I wouldn't put a Passat in the same class as the aforementioned cars.

Post Phaeton

I am not entirely sure which VW model that is, but don’t forget about the new VW Phaeton. Priced in the 60-70 thousand range, oh yeah, and it can hit 180. That’s sort of sporty. If its not the Phaeton then I agree.

Same here...my first new/real car was an 86 GTI. I loved that little car.

The only car that i like in the VW series is the golf, but then like my father says, it's still a VW, doesn't worth it.

You're selling your M for a Nissan? Are you high?!
