That's about as stupid as taking a luxury suv off road.

But seriously...I hope I don't see any Z's doing this...

Like one S2k guys said..."just because you can, doesn't mean you should."

LOL that's pretty funny. Reminds me of that saying: "The Z makes more torque at idle than the S2000 makes at peak." I would think with the amount of torque the VQ produces and the fact it's used in Pathfinders would make the Z better suited. Whatever the case, I think it would look awful silly to have a tow hook on the back of a sports car.

That's just so he could monitor the frame for damage.

my dad once towed a 6000lb boat with a mustang(V6 no less).

it was hilarious. but it was also an automatic; and he hated it with a passion.

oh, and it barely managed it.

(the Z wont be pulling that duty)

How is it you can afford a $32K+ sports car AND a boat, but can't afford to spend $3000 on a beater pickup to tow it with? wow, that's dumb...

And the pictures, just in case they go away:

Imagine what would happen is he ran into to someone going 20 or 30? I wonder what kind of tongue weight a panic stop would put on the hitch...

too bad the video hasn't been posted yet.

Okay, um, what exactly is this hitch bolted to???

Sh|t...If the s2k can tow a small boat to a lake, I should have no problem towing my house down the block w/ my 350z.

why? stumbling upon the question... experimental or idiotic? either way, that looks like a gas tank that he attached too.

question, can Z tow a small trailer with a bike on it? thinking about buying some sort of bike(hayabusa/GSR-X).

Yes, the engine should have no problem with towing anything short of a yacht, its the rest of the car I'm worried about. I'm sure there'd be some frame damage or other bent parts. Maybe the clutch too.

Don't try it.
