The "Second Edition Catalog" & the other brochure, should be available at your friendly local Nissan dealership. pointfivezero scanned & posted pictures from them about a month ago.

After I saw the shots, I went to my dealer, who hadn't received there's yet. I asked my salesman to send me a copy, and, lo and behold, about 2 weeks later, I got mine! That was over a week ago, SO, there out there! Get 'em while there hot! They are WAY better than the original. With advanced driving instructions included

I must have been sleeping also...Mikey- did you do anything special like ask your dealer to send you one, or did you just randomly get it from Nissan b/c you're a pre-order. I hope all pre-orders get that!

 

I didn't ask for anything special, just preorderd like everyone else. I would think that everyone who did preorder would get this...

OK, guys and gals, LISTEN UP!. My wife, the consummate Southern Belle and former Librarian in another life, just showed me how to open the book in the big box. I won't tell you because you are intelligent people but my wife says, this book is so well done it needs to be treated like rarebooks are treated in a University Library. When you get it open and out of the box, remember the sequence it was placed in and always put it back in the same sequence. Always wash your hands before reading it and read it without the book slip cover. I am repeating below to allow you to keep this book, brochure and other items flawless if you want to keep it for a long time.

When you put it back, always remember to put it back in its box the same way, so you won't damage the book, slip cover, or the shagreen textured box it came in. They are so well made, the entire pkg w/ the book and all the other memorabillia are worth about $150-$250. Do not use it as a coffee table book if you want it kept the way you receive it. I don't know how much the book only costs at the dealer or E-Bay, but the entire pkg I just got is a very expensive gift from Nissan only to the preorders and it is something you will enjoy for a long time if you keep it safe.

Don't get me wrong, its not priceless and I will read the book and the other material soon, using my wife's instructions, because the pkg is so well done and the materials are so nice. Hell, even the UPS box it came in looks expensive, and I had to sign for it. Everything else I get from them is tossed on the front porch after they ring the doorbell. Nissan went the extra mile for us preorders on this gift and it shows.

Boomer--my advice, use or lose it, I don't care.
