Default 298 HP 2005 Infiniti G35 Powers to the Head of the Class

Looks like the Anniversary Edition should at least match this:

Only until the 35th Anniversary Z comes out, with 300HP, early next year.

No worries guys, as I've said before... just find out what they changed (shouldn't be hard) and wait for an aftermarket company to do it better.

The HP bump is a GOOD thing people...

G35 Needs more power bc it has more weight. Its not like it will be much faster.

Many of us, even w/naturally aspirated mods, now have well over 300hp at the crank, w/o resorting to things such as cams that would violate the engine warranty. Mods aren't free, but the new "Sport" G will probably come at a price bump, as would a new Z, and the whole point of modding your car is to come out with a vehicle that is uniquely yours.

Finally, the engine is still going to be the 'ol tried and true 3.5 VQ, and there are only so many different things that can be done to milk more hp out of it, short of going to forced induction (and there's no way the new G, w/only just under 300 hp, has forced induction).

Mod away, my Z brethren, and be not jealous!
