This is me at Pebble Beach, 18th hole. I know, too bad the tide was out, or the pic would be much better. I parred this hole, which was quite enjoyable. Perfect drive, then a 3 wood ("I can reach").......into the bunker near the ocean. A sand wedge....then another sand wedge ("Good out"), and a 40 foot putt for par while all my coworkers were standing around watching.

More?

I hadn't realized this was leaked to my350Z.com (and I know who now ) Anyway, it was great having everyone there today. I'm shocked that's the only photo posted so far tonight with so many of you guys there! If you have any questions about the cars I can now field most a lot more readily since Nissan gave the okay (in fact, they demanded) to bring a car down. The guy with the Daytona was asked if he wanted the car to take down there (he's in Marketing) and was also granted access...so in all it was a good day.

Here's some pics and a video for you guys. I didn't take too many since it's not like we haven't seen the car a million times. If there's a particular shot anyone wants, let me know. If I can get off work, I'll be with most (if not all) of the other colors tomorrow. No promises....hell, I might even be asked not to post anything, but I'll try. Also, if a pic comes up as a red X, try to right click and reload it...I have a feeling I'm going to get hammered.

P.S. If anyone remembers the white kitted Z32 with the polished engine bay across from the 350s, that was mine. I'd have said hi if I knew you guys were there!

If you look closely, that's John Morton's head right above the hood (510 man!)

Here's a short little mpeg of the exhaust again. Nothing special but hey, it's video instead of just a .wav file.

350Z Exhaust

Hope you guys enjoyed it.

What on earth do you need video of...the car sitting there?
If I knew it was that important I'd have taken more than the one above (I just edited and added it by the way )

You guys want motion or something?

Picture behind seat. Upper left is storage perfect for papers, cell phone, or other smallish items. Upper right is DVD player (presumably for nav, I forgot to ask, did anybody out there ask about this?). Lower left is main cockpit storage: you get this instead of a glove box, but it is much bigger than a glove box (unless you have HUGE hands).

It was good meeting you as well. I've been uploading some of the video to JmanZ, so we'll probably see it shortly. He might want to edit it, so no idea on the time frame. If you want the raw video e-mailed to you, its about 10MB a clip, about 10 clips.

Yes, it's for the NAV system. Unlike many other NAV systems, there is ONE DVD for the entire US...no purchasing certain states or zones of the country.

I'm a member of GroupZ (the club where we held this tonight) and I constantly have to drive 2 hours each time to get there...and it's only 45 miles from me...so I hear ya!

SeedyRom,

I saw your Z there. Your Z is FAMOUS! Thanks for the pictures. You got me in one of them, so now I've got a digital image to post under "member's photos."

SeedyRom, you said you could answer more questions now. How about lateral G's and braking distances? If you can't give actual numbers can you say whether those stats will be better than those of the Z32?

Another question for anyone who sat in the car and is around 6 feet tall. What is the view like from the driver's seat - specifically, how much of the hood is visible from a normal driving position?
