TCL... Seedyrom most likely doesn't have those answers because Nissan has not made them public yet. Seedy runs a few websites, and while he does know people and some of those people probably have the answers you seek.... posting them here would mean certain death for him*.
I spoke with a rep for Nissan that is "up there" for about 60-90 minutes last night on the phone. He assured me that I'd be getting a press kit along with other webmasters on his list before the end of this month.
While we are told to keep things under wraps until July 3rd, I can assure you that 12:00am on July 3rd, I'll be posting the kit in all it's splendor. All scanned etc.
Also... new video and photos from BrianZ coming shortly... he sent them to me, I am just editing etc.

* - His friends would kick his hiney me thinks.

Another question for anyone who sat in the car and is around 6 feet tall. What is the view like from the driver's seat - specifically, how much of the hood is visible from a normal driving position?

Seedy-
on the Mpg it sounds like someone (you?) said:
"It's funny, it doesn't sound like last week....?"
Not sure if you can answer this or not, but I guess I'll ask anyway- do you know what the person who said that (you?) meant by that...
Thanks!

The sound is unlike any other car I've ever heard, sort of exotic. Not loud like a cheap aftermarket exhaust, but definitely quite loud for a stock exhaust. When you hear the engine, you can tell it means business.

BrianZ icqed me these files late last night. i fell asleep on the couch, woke at about 4:00am and started to play them. I live in an condo complex and I am MORE than sure the people downstairs heard me reving the engine. Well, playing the clips over and over rtaher loud.
'Tis a great thing you've done BrianZ. 'Tis a great thing indeed.
Video should be online by 9:00am or so.

The storage better than I expected. I've got video of it where I'm kinda walking around to get different angles.

I've got some video of the trunk from different angles, so I'm sure that will be on this site in the near future.
I thought the storage space was quite good. Better than I was expecting. Most people there echoed my sentiment.

Plus my wife talks a lot, and I said stupid things like "sweet" about every 10 seconds. I couldn't help myself and didn't even realize I was doing it until I looked at the video. It was a natural reaction, because the car in person is so SWEET!

They're *almost* done..... I have to brand them and add cool little graphics and all. When I say Brand them... I mean so other sites don't snag them and claim the videos as theirs.
This website biz is getting pretty cut throat... haha
(just kidding)
I am then going to create a streaming page for each so people don't have to download the videos, they can just push "play" on the video player I create. There will be the option though of downloading the vids for those that wish to. (watch the videos... then download them. One last thing... when watching... once video has started, click the "alt+ plus the "enter/return" key at the same time on your keyboard. This forces windows media to go to full screen mode. Hitting the "esc" key in the top left corner will revert it back.
This is if you download the videos. If you plan on watching them online, streaming, you'll have to right click the screen where the video file is... then go to "zoom... full screen".
Easy as pie and WELL worth it.
Almost done....

Sorry it took so long guys... the files that were sent to me were in WMV format. I had to then convert them to avi which is not an easy task from wmv. I had to use Media Encoder to first reencode the files using the mpeg 4 codec, then I had to use a program called Graph Edit to change the sound and encode that differently. Then I had to bring the files into Pinnacle's Studio 7dv (the best dv editing program on the planet for the pc under $500, I am positive of this) and create the titles and stuff. Then I had to save the videos and convert them once again, then upload them and set them up for streaming. Then create the htm pages to accompany them.
Sound slike a lot of work... it took about four five hours total but to be fair, I am dead tired right now, slept the big hour from last night so now I am on the way to bed. It wasn't hard work... it was tiring because even though my system is fast (P4 1.6 with a gig of rambus ddr ram and 180 gigs of hard drive space for video editing), it still took it's sweet @ss time converting. haha. Ah well, all for the love of the Z! I sooo wish I was there for this last night, but this is the next best thing.
See ya in 7 to 8 or so!
later!
