Default Stereo Question

My Z currently is still outfited with the original stereo system. No modification at all. Its still bose...

my question is, I wanted to have an external audio source for example from my Notebook...

i understand that they do not have such jack and i do not want it to go through the cassete route as the sound quality will be unbearable....

any idea how i can achieve this the easiest way?

your only option is an fm modulator, which would not sound much better than a cassette adapter.

so the next option would be to add an equalizer?

With equalizer, does it means i need to add an Amplifier too?

You can get a new Head Unit that has in audio in RCA connection. Somewhat pricey but you would get alot of benefit from this in overall sound quality in the car (stock system sucks!)

with the Pioneer h/u's you can get the IP-Bus adapter which gives you RCA input.
