Default 350z now or wait

The dealer just call me today said they have a brand new black performance (Canada) with black interior came in yesterday and selling it for $52900cdn ($33500US) if i want it now. But I order mine for $46900cdn ($29700US) in Sep and I have to wait until Feburary for the car to arrive. Should I pay $6Kcdn ($3800US) more to get it now? Any suggestion.

You will "earn" $6,000cdn by waiting four months.

or

Your loan payment wil be reduced because of your $6,000cdn "down payment" in February.

or

Since you live in Vancouver, you can drive year round so you should get it now.

I personally would wait and get the car closer to MSRP. I have waited five months and am still alive to tell about it and will get the car at MSRP next week.

This is a patience topic...

Think forward 6 months, if you will. With either choice, you will have had your Z for a while. At that point, will you kick yourself for not saving $6,000 and not having your Z as long?

This is a personal choice. I would have a hard time waiting, but I would. The anticipation would be great to get it now, though.

Don't let the scare of hearing all of us talk about our Z's get to you. Let that be your strength in waiting.

There is no better/worse reward for waiting or not waiting. I mean, the Z you are getting is exactly the same. The only two factors are time and money. If you had said you could get your original order now but a much cooler one in 4 months, that would have changed this story, but it didn't

Again, this is completely up to you.

Best of luck,
Todd

I am located in BC also, and have a black performance coming in this week. The car is at the Vancouver docks right now waiting to be delivered. The interior is burnt orange leather with no GSP. If you are interested, e-mail me at engsite@shaw.ca. I can do better on the price.
