This is very interesting. On page three it says:

"Track (late availability) and 35th Anniversary models equipped with manual transmission have a 300-hp version of the 3.5-liter V6 engine. Redline is also raised to 7000 rpm. These increases were achieved by modifying and strengthening some internal engine companents and adding a variable valve timing control system for the exhaust camshafts."

Now are they talking about that adding 2 more VTC pullys to the engine? This seems like a major change. If it is, I now need to get my hands on this engine.

yeah, on the current models, only the track model have the variable valve timing on both exhaust and intake cams.

the other models only have it on the Intake.

I need to see an engine pic. I wonder if the conversion could be done on a 2003 engine. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Page 10 says that the syncronizers in the trany available for 1-4 gears. Does that mean 5th and 6th gear have no syncros?

Im 99% sure right now the track engine is the same as the rest. thus why the track would be increasing in hp.

problem I see; they just split the car in 2; aftermarket will have to tune everything twice. I wonder if theyll ignore 1. everything we see dynos of will be "is that an 05 track?"
