How many of you underage Z owners have used the false floor in the back to store alchohal to avoid those pesky minor in possesion tickets? You can fit a bottle of anything or even a 12 pack back there inside the spare tire, or i guess if you were serious about your drinking take the spare out.

i could care less about hiding it, i just leave the alcohol in the trunk. I've had the same fake id for 2.5 years now and i've never been caught. Just dont do anything stupid enough to get pulled over.

In CA no matter how old you are it's illegal to carry an open container of alcohol in the passenger compartment of a vehicle. Always carry it in the trunk. This is especially true if you are a minor when, open or closed, possess9ion of alcohol is a crime.

i was thinking about this a couple days ago being an underage college student (i'll never mix drinking and driving though - that's just not smart). i can't get to my hidden compartment very easily because of the way i have my wires run for my cross overs and distribution block, but the cover for the compartment behind the drivers seat (non bose only) comes off very easily and there is enough space to store a couple bottles even with my amps there.

also if you had any other sorta illegal substance to transport in not very large quantities you can always pull up the center panel piece around the shift boot and put whatever you have under the shift boot (ive never done this, just thought about it).

I'm not underage, but just a tip for all you fellas out there, if you need to stash something small away from plain sight, put it in the sunglass holder (coupes only). Whatever you decide to put in there is up to you. You can also use the tape deck to stash stuff away since that thing has yet to be used for any audio purpose.

If a cop ends up searching your trunk, he is almost certainly going to check under the "false floor." Every car has it - it's not a hidden, unknown feature of the Z. Unless you pile a lot of additional junk on top, I don't think that is going to save you from even a cursory glance.

Yeah but while the cop's looking there you can be sneaking up behind him and...

...waiting to sue because he just searched without a warrant/consent!!!

Leave it out of the cops eye sight and he/or she will not have the right to do or say anything about things in ur car if he/ or she cant see it. I dont know about you guys, but ive been pulled over for quite a bit of times. The worst cases involve women police officers-THEY DONT TAKE ANY BS. Our cars have a lot of secret stash places...I never took the time to notice really. COULD COME IN HANDY

i just put it in the glove box behind the passenger seat. you can fit a 12 pack in there easily. as long as its out of the cops site they cant search.

In the US do you have to be 21 to drink? In Australia you can drink when you 18 and taking alcohol in the car is fine unless the top is opened. A 6 pack makes a great passanger + 1 in the cup holder
