Best wishes for a speedy recovery man. It helps all of us put things in perspective. I got a little ding in my hood from a rock tossed at me by a truck the other day. I will think about you and your car every time I look at it now and realize that those pics could have belonged to any of us. I'm sorry it had to be you.

To Jeremy's wife: I am a team doc for my alma mater's football team and I see a lot of concussions. At first it is scarey to see someone you know and love ask the same question over and over and over again. After you are assured that this is expected and that he'll be fine given some rest and time to heal, it's almost comical to hear the same question over and over again.

Hang in there man. I'm sure I speak for the entire board when I say our prayers are with you.

Hey sorry to hear about your accident, Hope you get better quick! I was in n accident similiar to that. My friend was drivin his 90 acura legend, and he picked me up from my x-girls house, and I wasnt feelin good so i decided to take the backseat and laydown while he drove me home. When we passed a 4 way intersection we got T-boned by another car on the passenger side, my legs got pushed up to my chest, it was a good thing i decided to laydown with my head on the driver side, or I could of possibly died. sorry to bore you with my life, Hope you have a fast recovery

Good luck,
Dan

I was starting to read the beginning of the post and I said "Oh my God, Jeremy wrecked his car!" loud enough that my wife (in the next room) came running into my office and said "Who's Jeremy?". After explaining who you were, she smiled and said something about this board being some "weird cult", looked at the "before and after" pictures and said she was glad you were OK. It's kind of funny but I don't really "know" any of you (and vice versa), but when I read this, I felt genuine concern. Get well brother.

Default all the best...

Jeremy,

I am sorry to hear about the accident, but i'm glad you are alright.. You're a lucky man--all these people, many of which who you never have met, send you their warmest wishes. On top of that, you have a wonderful wife who is sitting there taking care of you and even posting messages for you on my350z.com. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Take Care,
Neil

Wow, that's scary, and it's good that you're gonna be OK.

From the way the front is pushed in and crumpled, it looks like the majority of the impact was frontal, and the side impact was a lot less. This could explain why the side airbags did not deploy. Also, if there was no major impact on the driver's side and there was no passenger, it looks like the airbags were probably working as designed.

I am sorry to hear about the Z, as everyone has said if you can walk away from it, you can always get a new one. On the bright side, you now can post your pictures on www.wreckedexotics.com You can be the first Z! It was probably not the award you were looking for but, you can have some fun with it since the accident wasn't your fault. See you on the road soon.

As several others have already stated, you need to pursue this aggressively from a legal standpoint. That ******* in the Durango needs to pay dearly and hopefully after you clean his clock, he'll never be able to get affordable insurance ever again. Ruin him. Going the wrong way... WTF is with SUV people?

Man, your alive and that's all that matters. Eventhough your Z is gone (for the most part), the Zness in you is alive and well! Maybe Nissan can hook you up with a quick replacement!

Good luck....

I won't be touching my car for awhile because I don't know when the sun will ever come out again.

Wet weather is scary... I see SUV drivers going 45+ on 35-40mph zone. They drive and cut people off like nothing... I don't know how many times I nearly got clipped and the times when they turn left the last minute while heading towards them.

All I'll be doing is changing out the lights...

We're all glad you survived and weren't seriously injured. Hope you're back to normal soon!

If looks like the Z's structural integrity was excellent; what do you guys think?

arghhhhh .. it is so disheartening to see this happen to a fellow Z member. I am terribly sorry that this had to happen to you, and I am seriously glad that you are not hurt and that no one was killed by this horrible horrible accident.

Accidents are always such violent and distressing events, but if you come out of them OK, as hopefully it seems you have, they really do end up putting life in perspective. I've been involved/seen some really violent accidents happen in person and they really are life altering experiences second to nothing on this planet.

I hope you come out of this speedily, and I hope you get a brand new Z in your garage very soon. Get some rest, and try not to worry about anything.

Lets all hope that your accident will be the last accident we see on this board for a long long time. While Jeremy was completely hit by suprise and it was in no way his fault, i think board members should heed to extra caution in the way they drive out their on the public streets. Lets all be smart and protect the endangered Z species (not to mention each others lives).

Get well soon!
