my opinion to this is to get something from nissan for the faulthy airbags. dont just feel lucky, that you are still alive. Maybe nissan will start doing something about the damn airbags and save people from injuries.

Our prayers are with you Jeremy for a full and speedy recovery. I'm sure your memory will improve and be back to normal soon. Perhaps you will never remember the accident itself, which is just as well.

We're all just very glad that you're OK. Rest up and get well.

Jeremy,

Sorry to hear about the car, but I'm glad you are alright. I hope you get well soon and your family is OK.

This site is great. When the chips are down it looks like everybody is pulling together and wishing good thoughts and good will towards a fellow member.

Great Site. Great Friends.

Man, that sucks. It looks like the car did a pretty good job of saving your life though. I know it looks like hell, but it/you could have been in allot worse position. Question - - Will you buy another 350z if you can get one?? Will you feel safe in it? I would think if you can walk away from a crash like that it maybe a while before you get to drive a car again, just wondering. At least you know you have friends on this site that will help you through this hard time. Good luck and take care!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't that sucks when you pay $500 for side airbags and they didn't deploy the only one time you need them. Glad I didn't bought that "safety feature". I'd call Nissan and seriously ask them how they going to compensate it to you.

It's not making any sense. It'll take some extra mecanisms/electronics to use a seat sensor, and if door was hit so bad airbag is needed, then what the point in saving airbag? Nobody's going to take it out of wrecked door and install into new one, right?

One airbag is in the seat and one is in the roof. No airbags in the door as far as i know...

I can't believe the side impact air bags did not go off. I know the curtain would have helped too. I thought if you got hit like this the airbags would deploy on both sides. Does any body know the particulars of how the airbags are supossed to work for this car?
This why I was concerned when you first posted after you could get your wits about you. I just saw the car and the side airbags shoud have gone off w/all the side damage. I'm really glad you are feeling better. That was a close call. Keep getting better, we are all wishing you well.

So you think Nissan was trying to save the roof?
