Default Blizzaak Winter Tires?

I see they have 3 types, a WS-50 and LM-22/LM-25, what kind are you using and what size? I will be driving in New Jersey and Im not sure which tire I should go with.

It's a matter of personal preference. The LM-22's are geared more towards performance, while the WS-50's are a more traditional snow tire (softer, lower speed rating). I have LM-22s, and they passed the test last winter with flying colors.

I've got 6 months of winter here so I'm going with the WS-50's. Better traction than the 22's, but less performance as Celtic said... WS-50's are rated for 99 mph. That's plenty fast for me in January in snow...

You're probably going to be looking at about $800-$1,000 for a set of four tires...if you get some rims with it in a package deal, it'll obviously be more than that. Wisest thing to do is shop around.

I picked up mine from TireRack for $1250USD

Blizzak WS-50's on 17" ASA KA3 rims. ASA has another rim that'll fit for a little less too. I'm going overtop of the Brembo brakes, so if you got the smaller brakes, you may be able to go even cheaper...

I use the WS-50's because I live in an area of CT that gets significant snowfall. Overall, I have been VERY impressed last winter. It sticks better than my FWD Acura did and had no problems at all getting around last winter.

The only downside is that the handling feels like you are riding on a marshmallow
