It can be installed in either Base models with open differentials or with the enthusiest and up models with VLSD's

are the 2004.5 base models open differentials ? I haven't looked under the car yet.

they will look exactly the same...

if you jack up the rear end of the car and turn one wheel forward... if the other wheel turns the same direction you have the VLSD installed... if the other wheel turns the oposite direction you have a base model with no lsd

yup, thats a sure way to test. I was wondering if the LSDs had any labeling like the Silvia's do.

How accessible is the 350's differential? You wouldn't have a photo or diagram would you ?
