I drive 26 miles each way to work along 101 in the Bay Area, a very crowded stretch of highway. I see 1 or 2 Boxsters a day, an Audi TT and a vette every other day or so along with various Porsches and MB's. I have only seen one 350 Z on the road. Doesn't bother me that the car will be as common as the vette or Porsche - they still look pretty good on the road as will the 350Z.

I commute along I80 and 680 freeways 45 miles each way. One of the busiest streches of road in the Bay Area. In the last 3 months, I've seen only one 350Z on the road (besides mine), and I've seen it only once.

I see numerous Porsches, Lexus SC430s, Audi TTs, S2Ks, Corvettes, Jaguars, and even Aston Martins much more often.

Less than 5000 so far delivered in the US to date. Too common already? You are joking, aren't you?

Who cares? It's a sweet a$$ car no matter how many there are. And it's going to happen eventually anyway, so I'm just here to enjoy the car.

In the six week's I've had mine, I have not seen another "Z" on the road. I have seen 2 parked. I don't live in the back woods.. I live 20 miles north of New York City!! I have had at least several dozen people tell me mine is the first they have seen in person. When I had my 260Z back in 1974, they were common..

I've only seen one on the road out here on Long Island...the mecca of social status and new cars.

I'm only discouraged because 90% of the ones i have seen on the roads are CS. I've yet to see a DB.

Too many if you ask me. I wish they'd stop making them right now.
But figure this , a lot of people still want Corvettes and there are 150,000 C5's on the road.

Hey I am in Japan, about 35 miles outside of Tokyo, I have seen only three in my area. One of them is the car the dealer lets you test drive.

I wish everyone would drive a Z, and then the world would be a happy place! If you want unique buy a McClaren F1. If you don't have the money, walk with a pumpkin on your head.

It's all about the drive!!!

If NJ is infested, I must have the vaccine. Aside from one friend at work with one, I have YET to see one on the road that wasn't on the back of an auto carrier.

I've put almost 3000 miles on in the last 5 weeks and I haven't seen one other Z yet. My friends have seen a CS and a Redline, along with me a few times, but no others.

Now, I have seen a bunch at meets and shows.....I don't think that counts.

I have a feeling that in LA/NY, you will see many more than here in little CT.

I see 15 a day .. all sitting at Universal Nissan. 30 if I take the 101 home.

1 sighting of 350z with dealer plates when nobody had one.
1 sighting the first weekend they were delivered to Universal Nissan.
1 sighting on the 118 driving home one saturday night
1 sighting at corner of Wilshire and Vermont
..and mine everyday since aug. 20.

I'm on the road 90+ miles a day in Los Angeles and can say the car is still indeed a rare road sight.

the one and only Z in athens GA. probably cause its a college town. but in my home town there are a few, Ive only seen 2 tho. I know more are out there. but I see porsches at a rate of about 5 a day(atleast) and atleast 5 hummers, all sorts of crazy expensive cars all the time. but none the less, people stare at the Z every minute of the day.
