Angry Why does the G35C get bigger brakes than the Z ??

I thought the Z was supposed to be the "sportier" of the 2 cars !
The G35C's (6MT and Auto), both get 12.6" diameter discs in front and 12.1" diameter discs in the rear. The Z (except for the Track and 35th anniversary) get 11.7" in front and 11.5 in the rear. Huh, that blows ! Ok, so some will argue that most people won't "notice the difference", but it's also a question of principle....the Z IS the sports car and as such should have at least the same sized brakes or bigger. What's up with these stupid decisions by Nissan anyways ??

I would venture a guess by saying that since the G coupe is heavier, it needs more braking surface to stop.

The 2005 G35 brakes are actually noticeably bigger. I saw one on the freeway today. But that's ok, since I'm in the process of picking up an 04 Track.. =)

our Z's stock brake (non-brembo) is weak sauce
My 03 GTI 20th AE comes with 12.3" front rotors and it stopped way better than the Z.
Well, just another reason to go BBK

No way, there some members here that have each mod on its own line.

Plus some list:

Mods to get in by 2010
blah...
blah...
blah...
blah...
blah...

For about forty lines, and then add a phot album of their car. Plus each mod.
Separately.
