yeah that is normal. these cars put off some serious heat.

sometimes i check to make sure my seat heaters are not on.

try getting out of your car when the engine is warmed up and running. you can feel all that heat coming out from the bottom of the car.

Your transmission is RIGHT THERE next to your right leg.

There's your immediate heat.

it's freaking hot! it feels like 120 degrees F. the heat can make you feel like you're in 100 degree weather even if its 60 at night with the windows open!

That's BS, I don't care if the tranny is right there, I doubt many other RWD's heat up this bad.

funny thing u guys mention this. I winter here in Boston, nothing to bad right now, but some am's are about 30's. But today was 50 or so, which means windows open enjoying the nice weather while it last. And i noticed, heat blowing in from the vents by the Front windsheild, the defrost vents, All the dials where turned off, nothing on, No heat. So i guess this answers my question.

Heat on No matter What!

Put some DEI heat blocking foil around that tranny tunnel. It should help. Dynamat works too.
