I actually really like the Vizage kit. I'm considering the sides and rear.

With your sides so close to the ground, can you go over speed bumps? I'm afraid I'll have clearance issues if I get 19" wheels with a spring kit, along with a body kit...

get some rims on that thing hehe i couldn't keep my car for more then a month with out replacing the stock rims. also the front and side are only about a 1/4 inch lower then the stock ride height, its just that the front end hangs out too damn far and you can scrap it a bit.

Rollin' car customs is a really good place i got my wheels from them.

hehe i got my pic on Vizage's website heh just with stock rims. i wanted them to put my updated pic on there but mickey still won't reply or change it.

 

Literally a quarter inch? That sounds pretty reasonable. I don't want the front bumper anyway, so sounds like it should work out ok. Now I just have to decide whether I want to spend all the money on paint and install... Thanks!

I want to get some 19" Maya STMs, but I'm not sure if I should wait several thousand miles before swapping the wheels to see if I have feathering issues... Only have about 350 miles so far...'04 Touring.

It's not so much the reduced ground clearance as it is the approach angle that gets you. Additionally, I have Eibach springs on my car, so my ground clearance is about 4 inches. When you're driving up to a speed bump, 4 inches isn't much.

Wheels are next on the list, but, since they're not free, they'll just have to get in line for my $$$!

BTW, the kit looks HOT on silver!.

 

Don't let that 1/4" fool you. If you plan on lowering your car, the skirts and the spring drop are enough to make this kit problematic for servicing anything underneath the vehicle. Be prepared to bring your own step ramps with you to the service shop so that they can get the car onto the lift. Speed bumps are downright scary (especially with how much it cost to paint this kit). I'm not by any means trying to discourage you, it's an awesome kit, you'll just have to treat your car a little differently with it installed.

Kernel, are you lowered? Would you agree with my observation?

 

ah, thanks very much for your input. Maybe I will back off the kit. I don't like having to crazy baby the car and drive at extreme angles on inclines and bumps. If I get 19" wheels and the Eibach kit, with the stock body, is it still liveable, or pretty much the same situation?

Yeah, the stock body with 19's and springs is much more streetable. I don't daily drive my car, so this was an exceptable risk for me, but if the car was my only means of transportation, I wouldn't have bought the kit.

Yeah, I'm so dying to put wheels on this car!!! Before it comes out of the garage in the spring, it will have no shoes!

 

Nope i'm not lowered cause i actually drive this car in the winter, and i have to get some coilovers so i can ajust the ride height in the winter and summer months. the car already is really low and with 19's it fills in a lot of the wheel gap.
