Changing own oil
Just did mine this weekend with 1300 miles after break-in. I just got the filter at my Nissan dealership. It was about $7. I bought a case of Mobil 1 at Wal-Mart for $24. It is pretty easy, but you have to remove the underbody cover, probably 15 screws. There is a cutout, but you can't get the filter off through there. I tried to just loosen the cover, but when I took the filter off, oil went all over the other side of the cover and started migrating to drips everywhere. Next time, I will definitely take the whole cover off first. If I had, it would have been very easy and clean. No harm though, and I learned a good lesson. Plus, it was kinda fun getting my hands dirty on her.
Sunday, I Zainoed. That stuff is incredible. It takes so little . . only 1 ounce for the entire car and the entire wheels. She got a lot of attention this weekend.

Also, I just used one jack stand and a floor jack, no ramps. I couldn't figure out how to get two stands under the car or where to place the floor jack in the middle to get both sides up at the same time. I had plenty of room for the oil change the way I did it.

Why jack it up? I can reach all the splashguard bolts, drain plug, and filter with no problem. No, my arms aren't freakishly long.
The front jack point is on the front cross member, just behind the splashguard. You have to remove the splashguard to get clearance for most floor jacks. The jack point has a bump so your jack won't slip off. Rear jack point is the differential.
