They are Matchbox scale (1/64) and available right now from HobbyLink Japan for about $57 + shipping (call it about $69 or so). I think it a bit expensive for what you get, though collectors might be interested.

The scale is 1/58. I brought an extra set of the 10 car set from Japan with me.
