Default Completed Tamiya Z model. (40 hours well spent)

some might say i have too much free time, well this could possibly
be true. i call it more of an obsession. but yeah, so i painted the
body with about 8 coats, and wetsanded each one except for the
final. i still need to apply one layer of clear but i figured i would go
ahead and share it. basically, superblack Z, yellow seats, guage
pods, strut bar. i added some LED's in the headlight housing for
the extra "bling" factor. i think its pretty cool. 2 8,000mcd white
led's power the headlamps.

and here is the picture with the LEDs on in the dark. if u look in
the above picture, notice the black patch right under the engine,
that is the actual button. its very small and less than 1mm in
thickness. works very well.

if anyone wants some high res shots, feel free to ask. i have them
in 2.3 mega pixel still. i also have well over 60 pictures so if
there's something specific or a certain angle wanted, let me
know. please feel free to leave an comments, questions, w/e.
thanks.

oh yeah, here's a list of the things i did.

Yellow Calipers
Yellow Seats
Yellow Gauge Pods
Yellow Strut Bar
Flat Black wheels
Flat Black headlight housing
Custom LED's
some other stuff i can't think of... enjoy.

Nice.

Looking at that made me go to tower hobbies and buy one also to see how it comes out.. I also bought a 350Z body for my nitro r/c car.

I've built a dozen Tamiya cars and I can appreciate what you've done with the LED's. Is that a 1/24 scale?

You should get the Tamiya JGTC 350z's...don't know when those are coming out. But it takes plenty of patients to apply all the sponsors and get the bucket seats/ roll cage...everything just right.

It'll compliment your street Z when you display em together.
