Will Nissan change the Z key? I read an article about Infiniti Intelligent Key for G35.


It only looks like a standard remote. The available Intelligent Key converses with the locking system as you approach so that when you touch the handle button, the vehicle is conveniently unlocked. Touch the button twice and all doors are unlocked. The Intelligent Key also allows you to start the engine electronically without even taking the key from your pocket.

let's hope so. the Z would look pimptastic with that key. all the accents match our car. (well, the silver part)

Knowing Nissan, that remote will use the cheapest silver paint available..and in 3 weeks it will be back to matte black, b/c finger oils will have eaten through it. I'd be happy if they gave us one badass key as the original Q45s used to come with. If you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about!

Still, I agree it would look great on the Z.

I want one of those switchblade type keys...like VW, Audi, Volvo, Porsche, etc... have.

keep dreaming all you guys cause remember, we still do own a Nissan and not an Infiniti or Audi, etc... Regardless of the arguments of some of us paying more for our car than certain Infinitis, Audis, etc... we are still viewed as Sentra Owners in the eyes of the corporate world. So we will never get any of these cool gadgets like remote start and dope key chains because simply put, Nissan doesn't care.

The 350Z I'm getting cost more than the G35 I have.. At the the G35 key was a bit nicer than the 350Z one...

I saw some trick looking Z keys with the remote built in over at Strictly Z, but was told the frequency is different in Japan, so they wont work. Not as cool as keyless but still cool.
