Concert tonite: ummm, errr, uhhh 300,000 of my closest friends are coming??

Pop superstar Pink will join Mexican singing sensation Paulina Rubio, legendary entertainer Debbie Allen and a host of other celebrities and performers scheduled to appear at the 2002 West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval on Thursday, October 31, 2002. Santa Monica Boulevard in the heart of West Hollywood will once again be the place to see and be seen on Halloween night as hundreds of thousands of Halloween revelers are expected to join the party from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight along Santa Monica Boulevard from Doheny Drive to La Cienega Boulevard. Admission is free.
More than 300,000 Halloween revelers, many in costume; legendary entertainer and Honorary Mayor of the Carnaval Debbie Allen; pop star Pink; Mexican singing superstar Paulina Rubio; 80s pop band Berlin; dance music diva Crystal Waters; and "The Mutaytor", L.A’s premier tribal techno drum and dance ensemble. Other invited celebrity guests include Anna Nicole Smith.
In addition to live musical entertainment, highlights of the evening will include the West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval Contest Grand Finals featuring some of the most elaborate, beautiful and outrageous costumes in the country; and the crowning of this year’s Honorary Mayor, legendary entertainer Debbie Allen.
