Default Clutch in or out???

When sitting at a long stop light, is it better for the transmission (manual type) to shift into neutral and let out the clutch, or should you keep the clutch pressed in through the light? I know that with an automatic it's best not to shift into neutral at a light.

word of advice.
don't hold your clutch in for long periods of time. e.g. when waiting at the light, put it in neutral and release your clutch. holding your clutch for long periods of time, damages the springs and will eventually lead to slipage.

I tend to roll to a stop in neutral anyway....

So I'd leave it out.

Leave it out and in neutral, it will have less wear on the throw out bearing.

I have a bad habit of not putting my foot on the brake. It's so much easier just to chill there haha..
