Thumbs up 2 weeks in and loving it

We'll I've had my Z for two weeks and after getting used to it,
I've finally had some decent road time to learn the ropes. This thing is a blast to drive. It's been a long time since I had a car that can step the rear out at will The power, handling and looks are such a nice combination.

I'm glad to be part of the culture.

I'm about 4 weeks in myself, I love it too! What was your previous car? My previous car (my first) was a 1999 Mustang v6 which I had for 3 years. I'm so glad I landed with the Z... I definitely wouldn't have gone with anything else and been this happy.

I've had a '82 Mustang GT, '86 Celica GT-S, '88 Celica GT-S, and I still drive a Eddie Bauer Explorer (for the crappy weather).

I've been eyeing a Z for a while. I considered a RX-8, used Boxster S, and a '04 S2k. I drove all the above and still love the styling, handling, and power of the Z. I'll personalize it with a few mod's in the spring, but I don't think I'll ever part with this car.

I really considered the RX-8 too, I love how it looks, but it definitely would not even come close to comparison with the Z

Is that the voice of experience? I've had many JDM vehicles and they were all bullet proof.

Nissan has ironed out most of the kinks with the tranny and tire feathering. Do you have an R6?

Hey now, don't rain on the new guys' parade. Getting a new Z is pretty exciting, don't spoil it with some big doom and gloom story about how their brand new car is going to fall apart in a year. Not nice at all...

I considered some of the same cars, but the Z caught my eye (styling) and decided to test drive it first out of all the cars, and ended up with the Z in my garage that night. It's been errrrr... nearly a year (ish, can't recall exactly) and I haven't regretted the decision. I have done some body mods, and it has aftermarket rims and tires. Makes driving to work much more enjoyable.

Good stuff. I'm about to indulge into a secondary crack habit and buy a used track R6 or SV650 this winter...
