Told by my alignment guy that with the wide aftermarket tires I should have an alignment done every 6000 miles to get the most out of my tires.

Sounds good to me. Plus if you hit a big rock, you could have thrown off your alignment and it would be good to get it checked again.

I didnt know feathering was still an issue. I have an 03 Touring and it had the tire roar, if you have it you know it, but after the dealership fixed it the car is fine. I'm not sure what the process was to having it fixed, or if it will come back but for now I'm happy.

I also had the s-tune susp and nismo wheels with S03's done. I also bought the package deal from firestone for unlimited alignments which I get every 6mo's (I was told for a sports car with aggressive susp that this is recommended).

I have never had a prob with feathering.

However, prior to having my susp/wheels/tires replaced, I had several thousand miles on previous S03's without alignment and without prob. (I changed to S03's several mo's after I got car).

Track model built 10/02.

I see a wing on your car in your post. Is it a stinger type? That's what I'm looking for . I have a silver roadster Enthusiast. Can you send me a profile shot, maybe some info. on the wing? "much appreciated". Car looks nice!

isn't there something in the lemon law that saw something like, if the manufacturer can not fix the problem on the 3rd attempt they have to buy back the car??

p.s. my car was manufactured Sept. 2002, and i have 24k miles, no feathering at all!!
