Default Replacing Brake Pads Help

Hi, i'm new to this board and have about 3500 Miles on my Z and has some questions about replacing break pads. I am planning on removing the rotors and having them resurfaced at the dealer so that i can install the new HAWK HPS pads on the front. Does this require bleeding the lines ? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do this. Also any tips on how to avoid any potential break squealing. Thanks alot

no bleeding required. you really dont even need to resurface the rotors with that mileage. For brake squeal prevention, you have to reuse the shims and add anti squeal compund that you can pick up at any auto parts store.

Unless you drive your car into the ground everytime you get in it, you shouldn't need your rotors resurfaced. I wouldn't spend the money on it. As for bleeding the brakes, you don't need to do so because you're not going to be introducing air into the brake system. When you force the calipers back to make room for the thicker pads, you will push fluid back into the reservoir. You should be prepared to deal with that (i.e. suction it off so it doesn't overflow.)
