I was talking to a dealer at a Land Rover lot, and he didn't know that the D90s have been around since the 60's or 70's. He thought since the oldest one they had was a 90' that was when they started making them. I laughed and left, after telling him the truth about them. Dealers are idiots.

 

I just hope we get a weight reduction and better n/a modding capability...

just a little tidbit.
GM redesigns their models at the same time, because they use the exact same machines with very similar, if not identical, stamps to lower costs. Nissan doesn't do it as much.

 

oh man. im on the 5 year loan plan. i would be sad to see a new z on the streets when i would have like 2 more years paying my car off.

 

If they discontinue the Z for '07 I"m glad I just bought a '06...if there's a major redesign and I like it...I"ll trade-in my '06 and take the hit.

 

Does anyone know if Nissan is building any more 06 models. I ordered an '06 but the order got screwed up so the dealer is offering to order me another one. So my question is, if ordered 'today' would it be an '06 or an '07? Thanks...

 

I just ordered an '06 in mid July. Should be coming in September. Dealer told me that they would be start taking orders for '07 in September and expect to recieve them in Jan.

 

I hope there isn't a redesign for 07, I love the way the Z looks. More power for the same price? have at it.. I would like the little upgrades on the materials and arm rest counsel. I plan on getting either an 06 or 07 when the 07 comes out. I say 06 because the prices drop with new inventory. I can't wait for this to happen though! I'm all stoked with the Z I want one now! lol

 

Oh, and another thing, I would like for them to restyle the headlights with something they did to you maxima. if you compare the 06 vs. 07 headlight shape, the 07 looks meaner.

 

I am planning on buying a Z in the future (350 or above)...and I was just wondering if there has been any news or speculation on changes of the body model? I read that for next year 2007, they already have the information on that set. There won't be any changes to the body model...or any major ones that is.

I also read that a G37 would be coming out in the near future meaning a possible 370z? This would probably create a brand new body for the car?

I'm looking to make this purchase next year, 2007...but if there will be a new body and car in 2008 I will wait for that...

Any help or speculation news...or advice would definately be appreciated thanks!

There is no G37, the all new 2007 G35 comes out in a month or two, and expect the 2007 350z to have the same engine but with maybe 5-15 more HP

Also there is still no news on the 2008 350z, its all rumors as of right now... The 2008 could keep the same body style <shrug>

Only reason the G35 is being redone because its market is a lot tougher and the newer Lexus IS350 and BMW 3 series was starting to cut into its sales so they had to redo it... The 350z on the other hand is still doing pretty good sales wise...

No, I'm not saying there is a G37 as of right now, but Infiniti registered the name.

I forgot where I read it, I thought it was on here but I can't find it...but I did read they had registered it...
