I think we should give feedbacks on what we want for 2009, as 2008 models are most likely designed, finalized, and waiting for paperwork completion (patens, etc.). If it takes 4 years - from start to finish - to design and produce a vehicle, then most designs are usually finalized by the end of third year, leaving about a year for paperwork.
With that said, I want:
More horsepower, and I don't want to pay more for it.
And make gear-grind and oil consumption standard an all models - I hate it when some models are better than others for the same price.

good point. if the new g coupe (08) is going to have the 3.7 ltr, is the new 08 z going to have the same? What about that 3.8? Or is that just a japan thing? But another good point was raised...why revise engine AGAIN if it would be the 40th anniversary in 2010 only a year or two later. Although I guess they could just go with some special bells and whistles/ special emblems again. Need more credible info! Oh, and smoother tranny along with at least 300 lbs lighter!

My prediction: There will be minimal to zero changes for the 2008. Same for 2009. I truly feel they will wait until maybe 2010and do a big body design change and different engine so they don't steal the thunder of the GT-R's entry in 2009.

i agree with the first part 08 will be carry over from 07. but i think the redesign will be 2009. the GT-R is coming spring 08 as a 09. G will be 08( will debut in april at the new york auto show) so 09 makes sense for the Z. i could see 2010 with the 40th anniversary thing and all but that would mean 2 more years of this body stlye when the G coupe that is made alongside the Z is redesigned.

How much change did they really make for the "redesigned" G35C comming up? Is it still the same car underneath with just cosmetic changes?

It's all speculation at this point, but according to Infiniti the 08 coupe will debut at the New York Auto Show in April.
If the sedan is any indication, the coupe should be something special. I sat in a used 03 sedan the other day, the difference between the two is astonishing.

When is the 350Z due for a full redesign???
I've been outta the loop...I know the GT-R is coming...my buddy at Nissan is already calling me telling me that people are already putting deposits down on that vehicle. But I wanna get a ZR and I wanna know how much longer the current body will be around before they change....I know the G-Coupe is changing next year, but the GC is not a "legend" like the Z is...and plus the Z is a true sports car, therefore it's usually around longer than 5 years...
