IDK, I'm not diggin the smiley face grill, but I'm really diggin those Porsche esque headlights.

 

I guess I am never going to sell my Z if that's what the next gen is going to look like. The Supra is definitely growing on me, but I really like convertibles and it looks like the Supra vert. suffers in performance and handling, so I couldn't do that.

 

Ok the only thing worth buying will be the GTR. The new cars look like ****. But hopefully these are just the early scatches

 

i heard abou that supra like 6 months ago.im just thinking wtf would i do with that car.................carbon fiber everythign. V8 twin turbo.....................700whp easy..........tanabe sevens suspension..............omg i just nutted.........mmmmmmm ferrari killer i like

 

Or you could just build up your Z and have a modded-supra-and-ferrari-killer-for-1/10th-the-price-car

Had these and just wanted to share.

 

I'm not a fan of the design shown, but things can change. Actually, it looks like a very minor change compared to the S2000. To comment on the Toyota: It looks great. Looks tough. By the time I pay off my Z, they should have all the problems worked out. On another cynical note. Do anyone want to take a guess on the weight of an 08 Z? Maybe 4000 lbs?
Still, I love my Z and have no regrets.

 

Did anyone else notice that those supra wheels look like very lamborghini-ish? But I think that Z does look kind of nice other than the grill... headlights are much more similar to a carrera. And I do like those M3 vents, I like those on a lot of cars if done right... key words, done right.

Ya they are, supposedly. Its all over Supra Forums. We'll see. Their talking a complete competitor with the 2007 Nissan GTR (Skyline). Their going to do what Subaru did to Mitsibishi. Wait till' a later date to reveal it and make Nissan wonder what they did wrong.

 

At least in the pictures, the Supra looks sweet. Not impressed with the other two at all.

The Supra (If made) will probably be a 2 seater spinoff of the IS350, It would seem that Toyota will pull a Nissan and use the platform to create multiple cars. Im not saying Toyota will make the Supra for sure, but It's not that far fetch, why not use the IS platform to create a IS350 Sedan, IS350 Coupe and a 2 seater Supra and keep the price range around $36k, they will all share the same engine so I doubt the Supra will be a competitor to the Nissan GT-R. Instead it will compete with the Nissan 350z.

According to the article both the 350z and the Supra will have 350 HP and be RWD. Also I doubt that picture of the 2008 350z is acurate...

THERE IS NO SUPRA!!!!! get a fricken clue already. car mags have and will always continue to print unfounded and unsubstantiated rumors. its called selling magazines, and its kinda what they do. the supra rumors have been going on in every country and every car mag since it ended production in 98. so please stop buying into every car gossip column you read and spreading propaganda. if anyone wants to put their money where their key strokes are, then I'd be happy to take a bet on the matter. I'll bet that no supra will be officially released for sale before the end of 2008. any takers?

 

damn the 350z looks like a smiley face, the fact that the car is yellow doesnt help too. the s2k doesnt look as nice as the older generation. the supra looks aweesome.

well, my bro in law works for toyota and he says that their coming out with a car that;ll blow your doors away. I asked him if its the supra and he said that he hasnt been told what the name of the car yet. Ill get some more info on this and ill share it wit u guys.
