true, the rear window doesn't look 100% the same..
also, the bottom of the door on the nissan press release has a bulging line, but the leaked picture doesn't have it.

I just want to know why he said January and what he means by Spring. Should he mean March, that would not be supported by the forecast, since the sales of the new Z would contribute for only a few days and supplies would initially be limited to production capacities. It is possible that the outlook is more marketing hype and they are planning just that. However, if they are serious about the new Z regaining some of it's lost sales, I could see them selling for the last quarter of F2008 (Jan-Mar). Again, why January and how does selling them in right at the beginning of F2009 make any sense with respect to the outlook?

Aston Martin, Ferrari, let me know when they release a car that looks like this for less than $40k. Better yet, let's just forget it because it will NEVER happen.

But MC says that production WILL begin in January (not December, not February). I just want to know the source and any details from said source that are available.
the car will debut in novemeber and be onsale in japan in december(meaning production for the japanese Z will begin sometime in the fall with them ready to sell in december. production for the US LHD spec car will begin in january with it arriving at dealers shortly after for a spring onsale probably march or how ever long it the boat ride is
in japan its going to be a 2009 like the 350z was a 2002 there and a 2003 here. same as the GTR its a 2008 there and a 2009 here.

i think it will be a little more $ than the 350
just because i asked that and why i couldnt get a direct comment on pricing i was told it would offer the same performance to value ratio as the 350 did.
so i took that to mean a little more performance = a little more money...
also for those wondering the car WILL NOT have any specific technology found on the GTR although some of the same team worked in its development. so it benefits from that experience just wont share anything specific

The 7AT in the new 370Z will without a doubt use paddles. They are in the new FX, new Maxima, and current G's. Guess what? They will be in the Z. Regardless, 6MT FTMFW!
