Of course, but all else held equal, more gears allow for more consistant RPMs to be held.

 

Price is going to be everything for me.. If they cant keep it around $30K for starters, then I will have to leave it off my list..

 

Admittingly speculative, but I would think that they'd keep the starting price below $30K just for market and marketing purposes, which are the only other two factors beyond the actual cost to build the damn thing and deliver it that would change the price.

 

I still disagree.... I think it will be 35k as there will be a new entry level Nissan sports car... Nissan has uptiered the Z...

 

The GM from my dealership was there too and confirmed that he saw the 370Z.

 

Glad some real info on the event finally surfaced. Did some digging, and one person who worked the event, and would definitely know the difference, said the car was a Nismo 350Z, not the new car.

 

I hope it was, but unless it was hiding somewhere in the dark, this guy never saw it....and he was in charge of lighting every car in the place. I have to think that if it really was there, some slimey car salesman's camera phone shot would have surfaced by now. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill......hell I want to see it!

lol, so dumb. just because the shape of the headlight is similar the whole car now looks like a maxima. so i guess any car with a oval shaped head light looks like a porsche 997? whatever.
