How is the VQ37 not confirmed? Seriously...Nissan has already announced the name of the car is the 370Z. Unlike BMW and Benz, Nissan always sticks to their displacement designations.

con·firmed (kn-fûrmd)
adj.
1. Being firmly settled in habit; inveterate. See Synonyms at chronic.
2. Having been ratified; verified.
3. Having received the rite of confirmation.
There is a difference between confirmed and precise. What you want is both confirmed and precise. Here is precise (specifically 2 is what you are referencing):
pre·cise (pr-ss)
adj.
1. Clearly expressed or delineated; definite: The victim gave a precise description of the suspect.
2. Exact, as in performance, execution, or amount; accurate or correct: a precise measurement; a precise instrument.
3. Strictly distinguished from others; very: at that precise moment
Now this is all semantics, but precision in conversation is key to efficient communications.

That being said, I'm cool with my Z33 for quite awhile..

Ahh yeah.. Never thought about those single reverse lights. Good find cobra I think its the best guess so far. Guess we'll know for sure soon.
And agree with brooke... If it is? WTG! Nissan..

What I saw during the focus group was blacked out, and it may be more of a design element that a functional purpose i.e. light, tow hitch, etc..
The picture that I was shown made me think of the early-year RX-8.

IMO, I don't care what that piece is as long as it looks ok on the production car.
If it's a reverse "frog" light then maybe you can make it into a 1,000,000 candle power light with a toggle switch and you can manually flip it on when you have some idiot tailgating you in traffic.

330hp @ 3000Lbs range.
..... The 07/08 is already in the very low 13's.......
this car should break 12's easy

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the rev-matching is for the auto tranny not the manual tranny. The G37 already has rev-matching on their auto trannies.
