Whatever happened to this piece of intel we got a while back posted in a post titled "Next Gen Z insight from NNA?"

OK, the Z. Well the word they kept using to describe it was "surprise". When ask about the engine, everything we suggested was denied. I will tell you when we enquired about the 3.8L Stroked engine that had been rumored as the direction of the new Z, we got lots of emissions related denials. The 3.7L questions were always a simple "no, its going to be a surprise" or "pleasant surprise".

I mean everything we know now points to the fact that the 370z Z is indeed getting the 3.7 with 330hp. Whats so surprising or pleasantly surprising about that? Looks like this guy from NNA was talking a bunch of crap. Just curious if I was the only one who remembered this post from last year?

Here is the thread. There is no surprise as everyone knows the new z has the 3.7 330hp. The rumor was that the nissan engineers wouldn't call the new z 370z. So the rumor was that it had a 3.8, turbo, etc.

I heard they are doing away with liter displacements and using the new uber secret 3.7 gallon engine. Its all true, a salesman told me.

They must have something going on. The latest camo pics, show a regular hood and a bulged hood. HMMM!!
