Just read the good news in R&T.
The 370Z will have 350hp and weigh 3050lbs I still haven't seen a picture of the interior. But you know I'm still counting my pennies with 06-08s breaking 5.3 - 5.2 0-60 times this new 370Z should run well below 4.9 0-60 times and just about pull 13.0 r high 12s quarter mile times. And costing only $32k - $42k that will work keeping up with the Z tradition of price + performance.
Soltice a Z killer, my a$$.
All cars seems to be going up in price.
Be nice if I could keep the redline 05 but if not the 370Z in black would be sweeet!!
Note that the Shelby GT500KR Mustang is a $79K car, with a 3885lbs curb weight, 540hp and does 4.7 0-60 times. GTR money without the SuperCar performance, I'd get a GTR instead.
What do you say?

This is what you read from R&T http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....rticle_id=7025
It says power is in the "neighborhood" of 350HP. And the weight they gave is estimated. Nothing official from Nissan.
Not bashing but this is old info and the specs are estimated.

I do not think this is 'old' news. All other reports have said 330 HP with a weight of 3015. The estimates of 350 are more recent, and the weight being 3050 is completely new.
I thought it was interesting last in last month's MotorTrend, they listed the 370 from 345-360 HP, not the 330-345. I think this R&T information is more accurate...

No, I saw those threads. The reason I think this is new is because in the past the specs were all over the place. 320, 330, 350 HP, etc... Now we have two respected mags saying very similar information.
Maybe I should have said similar news, but from a new leak; a leak that is closer to the final production version. Maybe this is the 'surprise' they keep speaking of. Everyone is expecting this engine to be 330 (not that there is anything wrong with that..), but maybe it WILL be 350 HP.
God knows it needs to be.....
