GTR Price Increased 10%...370Z Too?
Nissan has increased the price due to increased cost of materials according to the report (see Tom's Hardware mainpage near the bottom for link). I wonder if this will mean something similar for the 370Z or have they already factored in the cost increase when stating the base model will sell for $29.5K.

Funny even Waizzz himself says otherwise.

There may in fact be changes to what I have seen, and I wouldn't be surprised if they happened between now and the November showing.
That being said, I'm cool with my Z33 for quite awhile..

I wouldn't worry about the price too much until Nissan officially announces pricing on the new Z to the public. However, with the weak dollar, inflation, and the ever increasing cost of materials that could cause a price increase on any vehicle. And in some cases if the car company sees that they can sell the car for more at an increased profit they will do it. That's the nature of business.

NNA is very secretive with things, even when I worked there we never knew ALL of the details.
Don't jump the gun on price increases, the GTR adjustment is Nissan trying to cash in on demand for the beast.
With that being said, I would be willing to bet that the starting price for the Z34 is $29.5..

Agreed. $30-40k isn't all that much nowadays.
no no, you say that way too casual! $30-40k ($600-850 plus a month)is not an uncommon price tag in our market, but the percentage of people who spend 40k and under on cars (not luxury lines) is small, and the percentage that spends it on two door sports cars is very small. You can go out and buy a brand new mustang gt (sacreligious) for $23-25k ($480-520 a month), and there are a ton of them on the street because of it. The 350z is more of the $30k($580-620) area, so we see much less of them. It may not sound like alot but its a difference of $120-150 a month. SO, lets make no bones about it; it's not everyone who can just go out and buy a car in this range.
Now, if this car comes as advertised: 340-360hp, lighter weight, and came be bought for around $30-33k it will EASILY be worth the money. In fact i was gonna trade my 350z for the new camaro ss, and when i found out about the price, weight, and expected performance numbers (not to mention the adjusted market value tag) i have no doubts i will buy the new 370z.
so with all this said, i could not be happier for what they are going to offer for the price they will ask for it!!! ITS A DONE DEAL!
