I don't know if I like that rear window, and IMO the rear fender flare is a bit over the top. I think I would stick with my 350z based on looks alone.

The profile shot shows just how closely the artist's concept matches (appeared on Edmonds back in 2006). That drawing showed aggressive fenders, large wheels/tires, and a much higher roof line leading back to the tail that drew some to conclude the new Z would look a lot like a Honda CRX hatchback on steroids.

Personally, I hope they do something about the wheel well gap. It makes the car look like it has roller skates. I know there are some people (usually hispanic judging by those I've seen driving cars with drastically undersized wheels) who like this but I think it looks ridiculous if not outright stupid.

I'm fine with the wheel gap so long as the suspension geometry is not compromized by lowering it via coilovers.

Lol!!! Didnt notice that ! Very good 1st post!!

If you look at the rolling pics you only see one 370, maybe they were taking pics of each other.... Nissan publicity, saves on advertising, just like the GT-R !!

Get one then! Instead of spending 50k for the NISMO package for your GTR, get the 370Z instead! It's a win-win situation!

Yeah, I notice the bump too...maybe it comes with Supercharger?! :P

The trunk is different, I believe the one in the 'back' is the one with the sports package, and you are likely to see what people have said is an 'Asuka' spoiler, or what I compare it to is the trunk of a BMW M6/6-Series.

Yea both Z's look a little different. Hood, rear window and the profile view of the roofline look slightly off from each other if you look closely.

And the theory of them taking pics of each other seems right.

I think its too early to call whether it's YAY or NAY as for the design.

But great find

Overall, I do like the general shape. What killed it for me last time, in the concept pictures, were the 'boomerang' headlights.

Yeah...I'm also confused about the hood bulge. Often times they put stuffing, so it could be just that. But when they stuff the camo, they're obviously hiding something.

One car has the bulge, the other doesn't. How weird. I'm kinda' expecting to see two engines, to be honest: a 330HP VQ37HR and a slightly updated VQ35HR. Then again, maybe talks of the V8 were true and the Z is getting the 390HP VK50? =O If that's the case, mark my words, I don't care how the 370Z looks, I will get it if it has a VK50.

I wouldn't buy a 370Z if it came in V8 form. I want it to stay V6, overall. V6>V8
