Consider they are both Nissan. They are both in their own class. They raise the bar in their own class. They are the elite in their own class.

....and the GTR has done well, performance-wise, vs. the 997TT. I'm sure the 370Z will do just as well, if not better, vs. the Cayman. It's already way better in the looks department.

I wasn't comparing them at all. All I was saying was that since I couldn't get a GT-R I might as well as get a 370z. Still fun still fast just a different driving experience and car.

Any guess if/when Nismo branded parts will be available with the Z? I wish Nissan would offer a full Nismo package for those that wanted it....

I kind of like the Z covered with black plastic. Maybe I will do that to mine.

Similar angle, side by side look. I think the new one looks more aggressive....of course it could be all that sinister black tape.

Default nice comparo

You can also clearly see that on the 370 the doorhandle is not on the door at all. There probably will not be the large doorhandle on the 370.

If memory serves didnt the Nismo Z already destroy the Cayman S on track? Hopefully its just the Cayman S driving dynamics they are after for the 370z and not the performance as its way behind whats out now. And you know the next Cayman S will be a beast. I hope for similar dynamics of the current Cayman S[I know its mid engined] but the performance closer to the new M3. Pipe dream for me lol. Hopefully by the end of the 370z model run it will at least be making 375hp.

Man oh man...saving got a whole much easier. I will not buy this darn thing till I can just cash it out. It be a year or so before I can buy one but hey, like that I can't think about moding the darn thing when I want.

If there is a god and he wants this country to get a small economic boost I ask for this, T Tops and twin turbo!!!!!!! If not then I am turning atheist!!!

These images make it very clear that the 350Z carries on many of the 300ZXTT lines (specifically in the hatch), while the 370Z will take more cues from the 240Z, as noted by pretty much everyone so far.

By the way ZZ, the line for the b pillar in your image is far too forward, which likely means the window needs to be smaller and moved backward, but I think you captured the shape pretty well.

Those are the same two videos from SuperTrooper169 posted a little while back (8/14).

And, if you look at the Z in the background, it looks FAR more aggressive than the red Z in the pic; dare I say on par with the Nismo Z.....?

The car in the background has almost a GTR type feel to it... I wish we could have seen a better peek at it....

If you could zoom one of the two pictures so the diameter of the tires (not the wheels) are the same, you would also be scaling the cars to 1:1 in the process. This assumes both cars have the same diameter tires. We can't tell if the wheels are the same at this point.

They are already pretty close so this is just a thought.

Based on the curve, I don't think the little window can be moved backwards much further, but you're probably right about the b piller. Here's one with perhaps a more accurate placement and thickness.

That's a lot closer. Here's the closest image of the B pillar.
