I think when the 370Z comes out many of those hating on it will take back what they they have been saying.

 

I think it's hilarious that we already have "for" and "against" 370Z factions. I'm not a big fan of the spy pics either, but lets see the production model and some concrete numbers before we get nuts.

 

The new Z is going to rock.

 

I've owned 3 z32's and at first I did not care for the z33 styling, but it grew on me. Now with the new z34, at first I didn't care for it and almost purchased a z33, but after looking at the pics more and more it is growing on me, so it looks like I'll have to wait for the second year production of the z34

 

Considering I just got an '08, I hate it! Actually it's a pretty good looking car in my opinion. I like the 240 smell of it. And to have a factory 40 hp extra to start sounds great too. The only thing I think is going to be the problem is unless Apple has taken over Nissan, this new product is going to cost more. The 350 was just in my price range, and I couldn't be happier to be a Z owner!

All of you who think the Z looks like *** now, well just hold on tight for a while. It was the same with the 350Z, G37, GT-R, Maxima etc....Its a mule for now....a test mule. It will be a different car with real paint and other chit. as soon as you start seeing modded 370 Z's blowing by you & looking good, you will prob change your mind. Nissan has a way of designing for future tastes and not the tastes of right now..you'll see.

kinda right on the future taste thing. I been watching football the whole day, and is it just me or is nissan taking up alot of air time pushing there cars...like every break is a nissan commerical.

Why is Nissan ruining their cars with these big ugly flat arches around the fenders. The Altima and Sentra have that look. It makes the car look unfinished. They need to correct this by rounding it all the way through intsead having it look like the edge of the fender was sliced off.

 

Hmm, I see an opportunity there. Use your imagination. With that design it would be easy to add additional flaring that would flow with the original flare. Mmmm, that would look so nice. I can see after market offering that or even perhaps Nissan themselves.

Without that "flat" portion of the flare it would be very difficult to add more meat to it and keep the original body lines.

The 370Z is Heidi Klum compared to that GTR. The 370Z is much hotter than the 350Z. The GTR at 3800lbs is an overweight Frankenstein.

 

I gotta agree with your opinion on the GTR. You can't deny its amazing performance, but it is one ugly beast.

 

The new Maxima looks better to me then the GT-R
