I Hate The 370Z...

Enough is enough...
As a long time Z forum member before 2002 when this site was JMANZ.COM, it is time to chime in and end this rant about the 370Z.
Lately all I hear are complaints about the 370Z. I wasn't used to the change as well, but it'll grow on me and I'll try to figure workarounds for mods and upgrades. Let's face it, it's not going to change so your opinion doesn't matter anymore. This is what you see, so this is what you'll get. Don't like it? Go look at some other car and leave this subforum. Have too much pride for your current Z? Good for you, now go back to your car while we trade our 6 year old Z33 we've anticipated and speculated since the original 240Z bugeye concept (before the orange Z33 concept) for something refreshing.
Seriously, I'd like to see the mods clean up this 370Z subforum so the discussion content will be something along the lines of mods, future parts, insurance premiums, gas mileage, etc. Seriously, please don't alienate this community with hate. Else, I'm going to assume you guys are all trolls from other car forums trying to talk **** about the 370Z. Better yet, let's combine the 370Z ball bashing hatred into a subforum of it's own.

The new look still has not grown on me. I HATE the taillights/headlights. Who the hell thought that would be a good idea... /puke.
I dont really like the small window shape on the side either. Sure its reminiscent of the old Z's, but it looks extremely out of place on modern styling. Sure it might be a take on retro styling, but that angle is SOO played out. The mustang, camaro, and challenger have all done that.
The sharp angle at the top of the windshield reminds me of the GTR alot. I dont know if i like it or hate it.
In general, I think it looks to bloated and meaty. I hope I'll like it when i see it at the LA Auto Show this november. If I dont like the way it looks, I know for a fact I'll like the bump in power. Chances are, the interior will be good, because even 07+ Z's interiors, though neat and tidy, is a little bland compared to other 07+ cars.

Hmm, I see an opportunity there. Use your imagination. With that design it would be easy to add additional flaring that would flow with the original flare. Mmmm, that would look so nice. I can see after market offering that or even perhaps Nissan themselves.
Without that "flat" portion of the flare it would be very difficult to add more meat to it and keep the original body lines.

I can't wait until they debut this car in LA and give actual facts instead of major speculations. Having haters for the 370z is just fine. Without them everyone would buy it and flood the streets with them. I think someone should start a thread that has a list of everyone that bashed the 370z then flip flopped. That would be great!!!
At some point I started to think the Z bashing was from forum trolls. Not that I'm accusing anyone here, but it can happen. Anyhow, hate + Z breaks my heart and makes thread kitty cry 
Let's not hate it... let's embrace it haha, but I do agree with a few posts from above.

some people hate change. people criticize the design teams soo much ,its like playing monday morning quarterback. "they shouldve this... why'd they do that... WTF were they thinking". eventualy the 370z will grow on u.
