I don't have PS CS2 on my work PC, but if you outline the cars very carefully, then remove the color from the selection, and lighten it, you basically end up with a 'primered' version of the image. From there, it's just changing the tint of a layer on top of that to whatever color you want.
I'm not trying to say, "I can to this better" or being a jerk, but if anyone want's to give it a shot and put their money where their mouth is, that's how you do it.
Thanks for the effort by the way. Too bad Daytona Blue isn't going to be offered. I hope this new blue is pretty much the same.
