I love the new angles...
But it's distinction also makes me appreciate the current 350z.
It's almost like the GTR where every generation looks funky at first but their distinctions make the older generations seem special.
If there was some sort of clear evolution, the older designs get lost and look out-dated.
Case in point...late nineties to early 21st century Mercedes Benz E-Class and CLK.

When I first looked at it, it looked like a yellow version of that awful orange/red one that was being passed all over the web a couple months ago.
What's up with the teaser shot? - post the fully view!

hahahahaha stfu.
You'll be driving one inside a year and it'll be all.. OMG I knew the second I saw it it was a hit.
Everyone talks out of their *** about cars, then ends up buying one. When the 350z came out, *very* few people liked it yet wow, whataknow... everyone went out and bought one.
The 370z will outsell expectations on the car. This should be a surprise. Lighter, more powerful... umm.. tough... should I buy a Porsche for 25k+ more... hmmmm...

There would be no way I would buy the new 370z it a massacre of automotive proportions in design alone (my friends would laugh at me). I out grew the current 350z because of the fact I can afford better and faster vehicles but still have a lot of respect for the 350z design and engineering.
I usually buy cars that are simple in design and flow and the 350 was one of them. The car 370z seriously looks like a frankin Z built by a body shop to try to show off their skillz. It tasteless and a catastrophe that looks like a fish and has fangs.
Classic and exotic cars all have simple line and angles that flow. This is the reason why they are very appealing to the eye. The 370z will be a considered neither in the years to come. Nissan is going in a rice boy direction with the 370. There will always be fans of this look but I’m not one of them.
A US design studio first designed the 350Z and a Japanese house destroyed it with the 370 go figure.
I would love to see what Jeremy clarkson is going to say about the new 370 zed.

Looks alot better. Although, I dont personally think theres to much wrong with the front...well maybe just the lights. Everything else looks good...as for rear, how bout someone chops rear angle with same wheels and drop. This is where I'm disappointed with the design.

The more I look at it the more I like. Looks much more modern than the 350Z. It does have some nice curves to it. Seems more serious. I think Nissan is aiming for more upmarket folks who have an eye for that type of styling.

I dig it. I like the rim design (for OEM it's a good design), but I wish they were larger and filled the fenders better. I also wish they curved in more, but all in all, the 370z looks better than the 350 inside and out.
I'm excited to hear what the performance of this thing is.
