1st things 1st (Not much gratitude toward the OP ) Thanks for the pictures Chebosto great job.
Nice to see some details for once. Everything looks great except for maybe the glove box, rear storage bins and the A-hole

Thanks for sharing Chebosto! It's nice to see what's behind those seats. Nissan claims the Z has more storage space, but I'm not sure if it's quantity of cubby boxes versus how spacious the cubby boxes are.
Ah, it looks like we have 16:10 aspect ratio vanity mirrors.
The material used in the Touring is nice, and now I'm leaning towards that trim. [sigh]
I'll give it a few months of review, owner impressions, and wait for word on Z with NISMO stuff pre-installed.

Nice pics, car is not that bad. Bet it will grow on most of you, just like when you guys hated the 06 headlights and now every moron wants a pair. As far as for the nismo comments, hahahahahaha, Paying 5 grand more for the ugliest spoiler kit ever and a crappy exhaust is just dumb.

+1. When I saw the 350z when it was introduced, I just really love it and till this day, still do. The new Z is an improvement in a lot of ways, but it isn't like going from old Mustang to the new Mustang, or from the C5 to C6, or from Z32 to Z33. If I had to pick a Z33, or a Z34, I'd take the former, but if my Z33 had to leave (god forbid) than I'll take the Z34, but not wholeheartedly.

^ I agree, the 370 definitely has its pluses, but there are some things about the car I just can't get over. I don't want to have to buy a new car and say "well, if I change this, this, and this -- then I will be happy with it."

Thanks for the pics. You focused on a lot of areas and avoided the obvious stuff everyone else seems obsessed over. Using your fingers to give scale or point out something was also smart.
I'm curious where the subwoofer is. I've read that 370 has two and one is in the floor in the back but I don't see anything anywhere.
I had to laugh at the blocked openings created by the useless fangs. I put a laser jammer in my 350 and used the same area to mount the sensors. The 350 doesn't have fangs but if you look at the grill you will see essentially the same arrangement down there...a little walled off area on each side that goes nowhere. I used the back wall as a mounting surface and I'm actually happy to have them there now.

Hmm......I think maybe its time for me to part out my car and upgrade to 370Z.........I'm smelling a part out soon . Cheston, thanks for the photos. I'm really loving the new look of the 370z despite the negative response on the styling. I am a hard core Nissan fan, and this has to be the best Z that Nissan has ever made. I do have one comment though.....the exhaust has got to go!! The piping looks so small that i am shocked that Nissan even put that into production. But either way, kudos to Nissan on job well done on the new 370Z. I'm going to stop by the dealership this weekend to work out some deals....

i won't argue over details, because there are somethings i like about it, some i don't, but you have to see it in person to truly have an opinion on it. The overall look just seems to work much better in person than when you divide it up into individual pieces and stare at it in pics. Of course it really all comes down to how it drives.

This car has really grown on me. Over the past 6 months, I have missed having a Z soooo much. I will definetly be test driving this along with the Camaro to get a feel for what each car can do. I am still not a fan of the tailights/hole in the rear bumper/wheels but the engine/interior/brakes make up for the shortcomings.
Edit: Not to mention, I actually am starting to really like the headlights

blue: is ALOT lighter than DB.. its almost .i would say.. a 'flat' version of the carribean blue that was on the G35 coupes.
my wife likes this blue.. i was impartial.. the yellow one, in the dark looks good. like a nice canary yellow. but i'm sure in sunlight it will become much lighter like in some of the other photos out there.
the Butthole issue, yea i can see where nissan is coming from, from a manufacturing stand point, but if you're going to not pick a car just by 1 little thing, thats kinda lame, since a $300 rear apron or aftermarket bumper will SURELY exist within 3 monthes of this car's release.. imho, this car has potential to look SICK!
the car's blind spot is probably the same size as the 350z...
they were giving out brochures on the car at the event..
here's what one of the pages stated:
"8.4mm lower overall height"
"15mm lower engine mounting for better transient response"
"10mm lower driver hip point"
"25mm wider rear track for enchanced handling"
"66lbs lighter aluminum doors and hatch"
"6lbs each lighter forged alloy wheels" <- i'm assuming 6 lbs lighter than cast..?
"3.5 lbs lighter audio system"
"68.9mm shorter overall length for improved manueverability"
and
"100mm shorter wheelbase for quicker reponse"
it's also stating a 7500 rmp redline...

Thanks for the pics! I'm still up in the air about the fangs, some angles they look really good and flow very well into the design, and at other angles they look a bit more awkward. Also slighty disappointed that they're not functional, but I guess a little modding would fix that. Overall though it's a great looking car.
