Don't most cars perform the sweep test before the motor is on?

 

what exactly is the sweep. Is it when the RPM and MPH gauges go all the way to the max and back to normal, and is it an actual test or is it just for awe

 

^ That sums up the sweep. At least you know if the needles are working when it sweeps on startup, and it has a cool factor. Plus, I use it to line up needles when I pop it back in after doing mod work.

 

What I like is that the tail end doesn't try to come around like it use to with the 350Z usually the 350z tails comes out like a 3 r 5 series Bimmer and then striaghten its self out when you press the throttle. The 370Z looks like a S2000, Rx-8 or dare I say it a mid engine Porsche swingung around those corners WoW!! Smoother shifting better interior sleeker and more balance handling all my car woes have been answered.

To hell with the music I wanted to hear the engine tone darn.
