Default Rear Foglight (US)- What's likely needed to use?

From what I remember reading about the Follow the Z cars, the factory wiring for the rear fog is still there on US versions (please correct if mistaken).

From reading the PDF of the new owners manual, it states that you turn the external lights selector on the turn signal stalk to the appropriate foglight setting and the rear fog comes on.

Are the 370's equipped/offered with fogs up front? (i.e. does the standard stalk have the fog selector already on it?)

In dealing with the black bumper cover vs. the red lens needed, does anyone have any idea if the stock bulb/reflector/electrical connector is still in place or does the whole unit need added?

I haven't seen any U.S. spec 370s yet (although the one's on the tour may or may not be U.S. spec production models...I'm really not sure).

There are not froward "Fog Lights" on the 370 (nor was there on the 350 of course).

My suspicion is that the wiring for the rear Euro Fog Light will not be there but I really don't know. In any case, making an Euro Fog Light functional (or using that space for something) will probably be a very easy mod to make and likely to be one of the first aftermarket mods available from one or more companies.

There are a lot of potential uses...an illuminated "Z" emblem; perhaps one that works with the brake light circuit or maybe a really good back-up light...personally, I'd like a apparatus that shoots out fog/smoke...or maybe oil...or maybe sprays paint onto the windshield of some "pursuing vehicle".

It's perfect for a rear radar detector.

I wish they would get rid of it but whatever, I'll find a way to make it useful.

To all the people wanting a back-up camera in that space, that's absurd. Think about it a moment. Think about the point of view... you would NOT be able to tell how close you were to something, because it would be a straight head-on shot... not at an angle looking down at the bumper.

I can definitely see an aftermarket for this.

I think a red light would look fairly cool there.

Since being JDM is so desirable to most.....I am sure shops here are already planning to stock the JDM rear fog, assuming it will be a popular mod.

I can already see it in the mod list:

-rear JDM fog

UMM I'm pretty sure you can't have a flashing red light on your car when you're driving around...Like an F1 car!!!

The retards driving around in poor weather with their 4 way flashers on need their heads examined...I mean how in the world do people behind you know when youre changing lanes or if you're pulling over and stopping...Imagine looking down a freeway with hundreds of cars in front of you - all with flashing rear lights...absolutely absurd!!! Leave the lights for firetrucks!!!!

For pete's sake.. I never said while driving did I?

My reason for mentioning ...Hazard Lights are for breakdowns or accidents.

You know.. The main or most common reason why people use their hazard's

Except when the car behind you is a cop, ambulance, or fire truck.
