370Z Prices Here (calculator included)
Found on Edmunds this morning.
I've uploaded an Excel workbook with a calculator. Unfortunately you cannot upload files with a .xls extension, so I just changed it to .doc. So if you want to use it, change the extension back to .xls. Here's a screenshot:
TORRANCE, California — Nissan said prices on its redesigned 2009 370Z will range from $30,625 for the base coupe with six-speed manual gearbox to $36,455 for the top-of-the-line 370Z Touring with new seven-speed automatic. Prices include a $695 shipping charge.
The standard 370Z with seven-speed automatic lists for $31,925, while the 370Z Touring with six-speed manual is $35,155. In comparison, the 2008 350Z Coupe started at $29,205, while the 350Z Touring was $34,035.
Factory-installed options initially are limited to a hard-drive-based navigation system with iPod interface (only on the Touring) for $1,850; a Sport Package for $3,000; and a Chicane Yellow paint scheme for $500. In addition, Nissan dealers are offering such port-installed accessories as an aero package for $650 and painted splash guards for $220.
The Sport Package bundles 19-inch Rays forged wheels and Bridgestone Potenza tires, front and rear spoilers, larger brakes, viscous limited-slip differential and, on manual-transmission models only, a feature called SynchroRev Match.
Inside Line says: In a declining market, we'll see how long Nissan dealers will be able to charge full sticker before resorting to discounts and other incentives. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

according to this you have to get the touring to get the nav/hd/ipod. I have not seen anything officially documented by nissan that nav/hd/ipod is only available on the touring.
That makes the price of a touring+sport+nav over 40 grand. If i were to spec one out for myself i was only interested in the sport and nav, no touring. Its a 5 grand difference for basically leather and a few other unimpressive options.

PRESS RELEASE
Nissan Announces Pricing on All-New 2009 370Z Coupe
Revised Marketing Tagline "SHIFT_the way you move" Also Revealed
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (Dec. 30, 2008) – Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) gets an early start on the new year with the announcement of pricing of the all-new 2009 Nissan 370Z Coupe and a revised marketing tagline. The new Z® goes on sale today at Nissan dealers nationwide with a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)* starting at $29,930 for the 2009 Nissan 370Z Coupe equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and $31,230 with the new 7-speed automatic transmission. As the most powerful Z® ever produced, the new 370Z hits dead center in the sports car "sweet spot" of performance, design and value – with less weight, more power and enhanced handling, quality and style. With a standard 332-horsepower 3.7-liter V6, choice of two advanced transmissions and a full array of driver-oriented interior features, the new 370Z is designed to be one of the top performance values in the world.
Also today Nissan announced the rollout of a revised marketing tagline: SHIFT_the way you move. Previously, SHIFT_ was used with multiple complement words, which varied by product or media application. The move to one set phrase "the way you move" reflects alignment of the direction Nissan is taking to meet changing consumer needs and wants.
"SHIFT_ has always been the core of Nissan's DNA. It is rethinking the ordinary, changing your point of view, and being original, forward thinking and challenging," said Christian Meunier, vice president, Nissan Marketing, NNA. "Our commitment to the philosophy of SHIFT_ has become even more critical as we look to the future and the pressures of economic and environmental change that are affecting consumer behavior in how they interact with and impact the world."
All Nissan national marketing materials will include the new SHIFT_the way you move tagline beginning in January.

Just priced the equivalent 350Z: $40,855 without the special red paint. So an increase of about 1K is what we are looking at. People forget that the $620 side curtain airbags which are now standard add to the standard price and weight. Sh*t ain't free.

I don't think the $3000 added package for the wheels/aero kit is worth it myself. I made that mistake once buying the Track package and I won't make it twice. That's just me though.
The 370z dances around the Nismo 350Z and it doesn't look like a rice bucket while doing it. I mean hey, we all want truck bumpers on our Z. (LAWL)
People say this and that is too much fro "today's market". ummm.. who cares about today's market? if you're broke or times are tough, you shouldn't be looking at a Z should you? Common sense 101 perhaps?
it is a buyer's market for sure, but that doesn't mean car companies are going to lay down and give it to you for free. Dur. I'm sure you can find a sweet deal on a Ford or GM though. hahaha.
