The only part I can agree on is the fact that he would lose money by trading in his car.

And what do mods have anything to do with this?
Handles better?We shall see.

I actually have seen and sat in a 370Z during the 370Z tour here in Norcal. I honestly have to say the 370Z looks much better in person than in the pictures. The interior is a step above the 07-08Z because i do have friends who owns VQ35HR, and i have actually sat in it. I can not say whether it is faster than the 07 Z because i have not driven the 370Z, but with the additional 30hp, I am sure it is faster as the car is in the threshold of higher RPM range/high speed range. Like some members have mentioned earlier in the thread, some like and dislike the design of the new 370Z, that's fine. We should respect their opinions and move on. Its really not a big deal. Different strokes for different folks.....

+1, wtf i dont understand all these 350 nuthuggers. the 370 is sexier, its a bit faster, handles a bit better, weighs a bit less, has a much nicer interior and all for the same price we paid for our 350's! lulz 370 > 350, get over it people. nissan has provided a better product, you dont have to bash it to make yourselves feel better, enjoy what you have dont hate on something you dont.

I thought they said it came in weighing about the same? Nobody is seriously bashing the car most people are stating whether they like it or not. Whats your problem were you on the team of designing the car or something? Settle down everyone has an opinion. It is a bit faster prob handles a bit better, but sexier ehhh not hardly. Thats my opinion deal with it you seem like the bigger nuthugger here for the 370 to be honest.

There is just nothing more to say. The 370 has so much more grip it's ridiculous.

Also, to those who don't think it's noticeably faster than the 350z, when is the last time the 350z did a 13.3 in a magazine test? The answer is never.
with a 0.3 tenths advantage the 370 is probably a good 3-4 car lengths faster than the 350 in the 1/4 mile. That's a little more than a "bumper" difference.

The new car is just better. Looks are subjective, and I understand those who think the 350 looks better, but there is no denying the replacing model is just a better car.

Well how about this... go put your car on a road course and then drive a 370Z and tell me the results.

Next thing you know you'll be telling me how much whp you got from an exhaust without dynoing

Most people will buy a car based on looks when choosing a DD. So the minor performances differences will not be the reason to buy unless they push the cars on a track.

why are you only comparing the older '03 Z with the DE motor to the 370Z? '07-'08 Z's have had 1/4 mile times just as low, with the lowest being 13.1.

And we can only wait until the 370Z is driven by those other than magazine drivers.

My guess is it'll be high 12s in the hands of a good driver.

No, I am including the HR 350z as well. I was talking about magazine times, which the fastest 350 has done is only 13.7. Not times at a real track. Of course it's safe to say no 370z has been to the track yet, but when they do, you will see high 12s out of the fastest ones. Then you nutswinging z33 guys will only have the looks to hate on. LOL

I'm not refering to "magazine times" hot shot, those guys cant drive worth **** and the possibilty of the 370z hitting a 12 second 1/4 mile time is slim to none, i'd believe when I see it.

So a car with more hp and slightly less weight has a slim to no possibility of being .2 faster

no! sorry i just like arguing, but if a magazine driver can reach a 13.3 i'm sure a good driver can achieve atleast 13 flat, but like I said, I'll believe it when I see it.

Well... I'll counter it with if a magazine driver can get 13.6-13.7 out of the 3.5HR and VeeTec runs a 13.1, I'd think it's possible
