Please go on! Seems like all manufacturers are offering some sort of keyless option now, but they all have their own implementation of it.

I'd love to hear how it's done on the 370!

It's probably just like our 09 Murano. You insert the remote into a slot, then push the start button on the dash one time while holding the brake and it starts. If you only want the ignition on don't press the brake and tap the button once for radio only or twice for full ignition.

Actually Solo, it's a completely keyless solution. You just walk up to the car, push the unlock button, get in, push start (depressing the clutch of course). You don't have to hold down the button either, just push it once. You only would need to insert the fob into the dash if the battery in the fob wasn't working, but that wouldn't likely happen for years.

Comparable . Actually, the 370Z seems a little less harsh on light throttle application. I think I read somewhere that the throttle inputs aren't linear, so you don't get a lot of bucking. The car is really smooth and composed. I do see what others have said about the engine getting harsh in the upper end. I don't know if that's the engine valves being opened more and more, or what is causing it. It doesn't seem like it's going to come apart.

So the ride is not harsh and bouncy at all? That's the one improvement I did on my 03 Z, by changing to a Tokico adj. shocks.. if that's the case, then I don't have to upgrade the shocks on the 370z..

Default 370Z Driving Experience

I only drove the 370Z base model around the block. My driving impression is the 370Z base model has a much shorter turning radius, clutch has a smoother engagement, torque is linear compared with the stock 2003/05 350Z, and has more high end hp.

The 350Z has a really tight turning radius....But the shorter wheelbase in the 370 will make it turn even tighter.

As for the powerband....how do you get more linear than the 350? Torque curve was flat as kansas.

The sound mostly. I get a little vibration through the shifter normally, and it's about the same at high rpms.

Yes. They have found a suitable alternative involving a round dial with numbers printed around the outer edge and a red-orange 'needle' that points to your current speed.
