"Looky Lued" a 370 today
Went by the local Nissan dealer & peaked at a 370 today. It was a white Touring. Only one in stock.
Overall, if the 350 did not exist, I'd be all over the 370; fine looking machine.
But I'll stick with 350, at least on looks.
Exterior: do not like the new head & tail lights; they interfer with lines of the car.
Interior: Definate upgrade from 350. I've always referred to the 350 interior as "Early Areospace"; like the designers just tossed it in at the last second. 370 interior looks like it was well thought out. It is only part of 370 I liked better.
Space: Clearly less space in hatchback area. To small for my needs.
Headroom: Plenty........which surprised me; with shorter base I thought headroom would suffer. leg room fine as well.
Now I'm curious how it drives.

As far as the interior goes...while the center console/controls are certainly nicer, the rest of it didn't impress me. I, personally, prefer full leather seats, and not half. I thought the seats I sat in were cloth, until I realized they were half leather/half faux-suede. I absolutely hate the hideous and out of place left gauge display on the dash. And when I realized that it isn't even covered by plastic, I couldn't help but remark what a stupid decision it was to do that. If I had a 370Z, I forsee myself spraying that thing black to match the rest of the gauges - the chrome silver is ugly.
I also don't like that the tripod gauges are different now. No more Oil pressure, no more multi-info display (just a stupid clock), and no actual tire PSI readings - I absolutely LOVE those things about my car. Also, only one cup holder? I have to open the center storage deck to use the second one? I don't know about you guys, but when I drive, I rest my arm on the shift-****, and the elbow on the arm rest of the center storage compartment. So to use both cup holders would be extremely annoying to me while I drive. I didn't even see cup holders for the doors, either.
That's just my rant about the interior. I'll be driving the car soon, but I doubt I'll be ranting about any drawbacks of its performance.
